Company History
LIDESIGN (formerly Lana’s Upholstery and Interior Design) was established in September 1992 in a tiny store located in Thompson Boulevard in New Providence, Bahamas. We relocated to Shirley Street Shopping Plaza then our current location in Nassau, Bahamas.
In the past 25 years, we have provided interior decorating and extensive upholstery services to customers throughout Nassau, New Providence, Paradise Island, and Lyford Cay.
We have been privileged to serve residential customers in other islands of the Bahamas including Grand Bahama, Abaco Islands, Exuma, and Andros. Also, we have provided Interior design services to commercial clients.

Meet Our Founder
Mrs. Vylana Davis was born in South Andros and later moved to Nassau. From a tender age of five, the Bahamian designer recognized her talent for sewing and developed an eye for fashion, both in clothing and in home décor. Since then, she began to perfect her artistic gift from God as she redesigned and decorated her family home yearly.
She completed her primary, secondary, and senior education in New Providence. Also, she obtained diplomas in interior decorating and studied business administration at the Nassau Campus of the College of St. Benedict University (1996) and interior design at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Vylana holds a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in international finance from the University of Miami (2000). She fulfilled her dream of owning and operating her own business when she opened LIDESIGN in 1992.
