A large variety of items for upholstery design are manufactured at Lana’s. These include window treatments, unique valances, exquisite cornices, bedding, draperies and furniture.

Her business also offers complete reupholstering and restoration of furniture. Services cater to any budget keeping in mind the customer’s decorating taste or preference.

Vylana Davis was born in South Andros, Bahamas and moved to Nassau, New Providence at the age of four years. From the early age of five, she recognized her talents for sewing and developed an eye for fashion, both in clothing and home décor. From that time she began to prefect her artistic gift from God as she redesigned and decorated her mother’s home each year. She obtained her primary and secondary education in Nassau. She subsequently studies Business Administration at the Nassau campus of The College of St. Benedictine University. She also obtained diplomas from Interior Design Schools in the United States. Vylana holds a master degree in Business Administration with specialization in International Finance from the University of Miami. She fulfilled her dream of owning and operating her own business when she opened Lana’s Interior Design in 1992 in a tiny storeroom where was hardly any room to move a work.
